Flock Cameras: Public Discussion and Friday’s DDA Meeting (Oct. 16th) Residents have reached out with questions about the Flock license plate reader cameras operating in Lathrup Village, including concerns about privacy, data collection, and in particular, public awareness of the program. The topic was raised at the most recent City Council study session, as it pertained to the opportunity for public discussion. The City determined that the upcoming meeting of the Board of DIrectors of the Downtown Development Authority (DDA), which funds the program, was the more appropriate venue for that discussion.
